GOTL Lakeview Loft- Sunset Vacation Rentals

It was a couple cobwebs here an there but otherwise very clean! The shower is most definitely not for plus sized people good thing none if us are plus size was quite a ways to the nearest beach and was within walking distance to the strip and adventure zone. Perfect place for a cpl getaway.

Perfect for a quick couples getaway. Not to far from the action but quiet.

Unfortunately my stay at this property was not a positive experience. Upon booking I was aware that there were stairs to the loft. What we were not informed of is that the stairs were a fire escape with an extreme incline. The stairs even shook when being used as well as the ninth step being higher than all the other stairs. My husband and I both felt it was a very unsafe situation and were not comfortable at all with the stairs. We had brought our dog with us, I had to carry my pup up and down the stairs as she could have fallen through the back of the stair. We had planned and paid for a four night stay. We notified the host on the second day that we were not staying any longer due to safety concerns regarding the stairs. I was told by Sunset Properties they would get back to us first thing the following morning. That did not happen. I received an email telling me although we checked out by 11:00am on the second day that they were not willing to to refund us any of the money whatsoever. Also the area that was to be our outside area was overgrown and in poor condition. This area was unusable to say the least. This trip was one big disappointment.
